Olajuwon or Robinson? Part 1
August 31st 2008 07:16
Just for a bit of fun...
If you had the opportunity to start an NBA franchise with either Hakeem Olajuwon or David Robinson, which player would you pick and why? To help you make your decision, I will compare their career regular season averages in this post. More will be coming in future posts to help with your decision.
The following formula will be used to decide the winner in career regular season averages:
The winner in these categories - FG%, 3P%, FT%, OFF, DEF, RPG, APG, SPG, BPG and PPG - will be awarded 1 point for each. The losing player in these categories will receive 0 points for each.
The player with the higher turnover and personal foul average will be deducted 1 point for each.
If there is a tie in a category, then both players will receive 0 points.
Finally, the player with the most points wins.
So here it goes:
Career Regular Season Averages
Hakeem Olajuwon
